The first project on the course was a skirt, getting to grips with pattern drafting was hard work but very rewarding.
The second was as textile brief which I really enjoyed and produced alot of samples. I'll be posting on +google soon.
I'm in the middle of a print project which is challenging. We're working with dysperse dyes which behave like ceramic glazes, they change colour on heat exposure. I've worked had at producing a pattern but the colours I've chosen are not working so I'll have to redo them after my reading week.
This reading week will be busy as well as course work I'm off to Paris. I'm very excited, as well as all the sights to see my colleagues and I will be attending Premiere Vision Indigo. This is a trade show of sorts full of fashion predictions for two years time.
I'll post again when I return and post some images as well.
